As an Investment Consultant of commercial real estate in Silver Lake, Echo Park and Northeast Los Angeles, Dana Mendez has immediately made a strong impression in the Southern California commercial real estate community and is considered a top agent in her market. She enjoys the Northeast Los Angeles, Echo Park, and Silver Lake real estate markets because of the diversity of the buildings and their owners, not to mention it was a natural fit considering she has lived in Eagle Rock community. Dana appreciates what these up-and-coming areas have to offer and believes that tight-knit communities and cultural diversity make for ideal communities.

What immediately stands about Dana is the integrity and professionalism with which she approaches her clients, escrows, and relationships. She is honest, and doesn’t consider things “done” until she has gone the extra mile. Her background in marketing, management, and transaction coordinating allows her to attend to details while still foreseeing potential obstacles and opportunities during the listing process and well through the close of the transaction.

It has become clear that in addition to hard work, Dana’s market specialization, consistent advertising and communication with local owners, and detailed property analysis are integral to achieving the highest net proceeds and negotiating the best deals for her clients.

Dana believes that these areas of Los Angeles provide a wonderful blend of historical and architecturally significant properties that are affordable, yet still hold great opportunities for investors to add value and enjoy the benefits of investment property ownership.

An alumnus of UCLA, Dana majored in Sociology and minored in Public Policy. She was also the president of the first Latina sorority at UCLA, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. for two years and currently acts as their alumni advisor. Dana enjoys participating in community service and mentorship programs such as Step Up Women’s Network and Coach Art. She is also a loyal UCLA football fan and believes games are best viewed from the stands.
